LDP member Pol Col Jinda Klubklaye among road safety experts invited to speak at NLA Committee's seminar in Phuket

On 7 August 2018, LDP member Pol Col Jinda Klubklaye was among road safety experts invited to speak at the the Committee on Laws, Justice Procedure and Police Affairs of the National Legislative Assembly’s seminar, “Encouraging the Public to Wear Helmets to Improve Motorcycle Safety”, held at Beyond Resort Kata, Phuket.

At the seminar, Dr Wiwat Seetamanotch, manager of WHO-RTG, and partner organisations, also submitted a letter to Sithawat Wongsuwan, Chairperson of the Committee, calling for the following:
1. Support the Royal Thai Police in adopting the Provincial Police Region 8’s model.
2. Propose that Prime Minister approve amendment of the Order of National Council for Peace and Order No.111/2557 (2014) by adding Section 7 on involvement of local administrative organisations and businesses in policy development, contributing towards the budget for enforcement and volunteers, and police performance audit.
3. Improve regulations and relevant laws to allow government to outsource technology investment to the private sector.
