Did you know that the Legal Development Program (LDP) was established in 2015 with the aim of reducing road injuries and fatalities through legislative improvement? We’re turning three this year and what better way to celebrate this special occasion than spotlighting our hard-working team of road safety experts?
Since July, we have been posting weekly video interviews with different LDP members as part of the “Up close with LDP” series to help you learn a bit more about our work and the people behind the scenes. In the final instalment of the series, third-generation LDP member Nichamon Thongphat, a Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI) researcher, tells us about the benefits of being part of LDP from a researcher’s point of view. [English speakers – if you don’t see the captions, check your video settings and make sure “Always show captions” is on.] You can also watch the entire series here.
The Legal Development Program (LDP) is a collaboration between AIP Foundation Thailand and the World Health Organization (WHO) aiming to reduce road injuries and fatalities through legislative improvement. LDP is supported by the Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety (BIGRS). Legal Development Program (LDP).
