On 19 December 2018, LDP members Pol Col Jinda Klubklaye and Pisith Wongthiathana joined AIP Foundation to provide road safety training to police officers, education officials and district officials from 8 districts in Bangkok. The TOT for Police and Law Enforcement Officer on Road Safety and Child Safety, held at Grand Sukhumvit Hotel, Bangkok, as part of the 7% Project, aimed to bring different agencies together so that they can exchange ideas,
identify the problems and obstacles and develop joint district plans to improve the safety of students while travelling to and from school.
The 7% Project Year 3 (2018-2019) is a collaboration between AIP Foundation Thailand and Save the Children. The project aims to increase engagement by school authorities to encourage helmet use among children and families, strengthen the capacity of BMA staff, teachers, community members, and youth leaders and engage police stakeholders to actively enforce traffic laws.
